While we were preparing to bring to life one of the greatest fairytale stories of Beauty & The Beast, we asked ourselves how would that story play out in todays society. We quickly realized that a gorgeous girl with her head in a book would most likely fall in love with someone as equality creative, smart and sexy. Thus we get our gorgeous, handsome and loveable geek. We shot the Beauty & The Beast as it played out in the movies and then decided to sneak this shoot in on the same day.

We decided to pull in the beast element with his best buddy, his dog, as the BEST MUTT and still throw in some of the other elements of the fairytale. We used many of the same elements as our first blog
"Tale As Old As Time". If you missed that blog feel free to click the link above.

CREATING THE GEEK
We really hate the word geek, just to point that out. It should really be an honor to be smart, creative and a well rounded person. Everyone meet Honor Foss, our amazingly handsome "geek"!

For Honor's look we wanted to pull in a fun and modern tuxedos. We choose the checkered
Ike Behar Ashton jacket with black trim fit pants, a black skinny tie and black watch for his first look and then the Ike Behar Braydon shawl lapel with a black metallic bowtie.
We also had fun mixing and matching our new collection of Allure Shoes for Men
into this shoot as well.

CREATING THE MODERN BELLE

We quickly decided that the modern Belle would still need fairytale inspired details about her outfit and we wanted to make sure she got just that. Modern Dress outfitted her in a dress from Watters and a Dress from Maggie Sottero that had more of a modern fit and style to add to our look. We did keep her in very fairytale inspired jewelry but added some pizzazz with a gorgeous floral crown, anklet/ wristlet and a stunning bridal bouquet. White Willow Events and Boesen The Florist did amazing work on the floral details.

THE BEST MUTT

It is an ever growing theme to incorporate man's best friend or other family pets into the wedding ceremony, reception, engagement photos ect. We were so happy we were able to utilize one of our own pets into this shoot.

CREATING THE MOOD

While scouting locations to bring to life their passion of comics, The Simpsons, nature and the underlying theme of Beauty & The Beast, we had an absolute blast trying to find the JUST RIGHT locations. We stumbled upon the perfect block of wall murals in Des Moines by
Moberg Gallery on Ingersoll. A wall almost completely dedicated to funky remixes of Krusty, Moe and other favorites from The Simpsons and other cartoon TV shows.
Then just one block west on Ingersoll Ave we found a mural in stunning pinks.
We decided to also keep the original tablescape from the original Beuaty & The Beast shoot to tie back in all the overall theme

Many clients are opting for a clean, hairless look and that is why they ask for a Brazilian wax. It successfully removes pubic hair, leaving the skin smooth and hairless.

Fairy tale is shouted for the entertainment of the kids. The story is beautiful and wisely construed for the learning of the people. It has been managed for the inductive elements for the humans for the prospective times.
