MEET OUR BEAUTY & BEAST
We had so much fun finding the perfect Belle and the perfect Adam for the roles of
Beauty and The Beast. Bekah and Ryan made PERFECT replicas of these storybook characters.
MEET OUR CHIP, MRS. POTTS, REMY & COGSWORTH
It is important to not over do your theme and to bring it to life in interesting and creative ways.
We chose to bring the teacups and teakettle to life in a true and useful way.
We utilized heirloom objects such as candlesticks, pocket watches, wicker baskets, quilts and other items to showcase how a real bride and groom would want to include their ancestral family items into their special day.
"The Girl Is Strange No Question"
Finding the right Belle meant we had to find a stunning woman with her head in the clouds and her feet on the ground at the same time. We found our bookworm and daydreamer from a previous shoot with her and we new she would be perfect for our Belle. Bekah is such an amazing model to work with and we are so blessed to know her and get to work with her to help
expand her modeling career.
We were also honored to work with Modern Dress from Boone Iowa on this amazing shoot. We looked to her for her expertise on how to bring Belle to life. They brought more accessories than we knew what to do with and made us all feel like princesses for the day. After searching for the perfect look we picked out a jewelry line that was simple yet very elegant. Modern Dress brought not one...not two...not three but four dresses to shoot our Belle in and we loved every one of them. The dresses we used were from Watters and Maggie Sottero collections.
Hair and Make-up were done by Kati Douglas and Charity Dillman who finished her styles with a partial up-do look with soft natural make-up.
"FOR WHO COULD EVER LEARN TO LOVE A BEAST"
UMMMMM US!!
We easily fell in love with our model Ryan who captured the essence of the Beast perfectly.
When we were putting together the Beast's look we went with a look straight out of the movies. We started with having hair and make-up tame down his mane and then add some small braids through his hair. As the day got warmer we put his hair into the ever popular man-bun.
We complimented her blush and Ivory Dresses with a stunning Blue tuxedo from Ike Behar and accessorized it with a Saffron Gold bowtie with gold and pearl cufflinks and button studs. A single white garden rose with a saffron colored orchid and gold pocket watch finished his look perfectly.
"BE OUR GUEST"
We decided to pull in the fairytale inspiration into the wedding invites to allow the guests to know what to expect and a teaser for what is to come. It is always important to give your guests suggestions of the theme, colors ect. in your invitations. This also helps to cut down on the amount of people contacting you to ask about theme, colors and how to dress.
"WITH DESSERT, SHE'LL WANT TEA"
The cake is usually where you can have lot's of fun pulling in your theme and showing your quirkiness. We opted to keep this cake simple yet romantic and pull in soft garden roses to emulate the Enchanted red rose from the Beast's castle.
Crème Cupcake did an amazing job supplying us with the perfect cake.

"TRY THE GREY STUFF, IT'S DELICOUS.
DON'T BELIEVE ME? ASK THE DISHES!"
Your tablescape on your wedding day should be much more than just plates, charters, water glasses and silver wear. HAVE FUN WITH IT!!
WHITE WILLOW EVENTS showed us how to pull in fun minor details from the story
into your tablescape. Spreading out the key elements throughout the event will keep guests on their toes and entertained, while it helps turn your favorite happily ever after into

"UNTIL THE LAST PETAL FALLS"
Flowers are usually the favorite part of planning for any bride or groom, with so many choices of flowers and colors to choose from. When we were planning this shoot we felt it was important to keep a dark, natural and earthy undertone as a nod to the Beast and then allow the soft color pallet of peaches, pinks, yellows and purples to really pop.... and we accomplished just that thanks to the experts at Boesen The Florist and White Willow Events.
Now Sit Back, Relax....and enjoy the photos!
