A Grand Slam Wedding

It's not everyday you get the chance to have full reign over the Iowa Cubs baseball stadium.
For this particular shoot we wanted to showcase the right ways to do a sports lovers themed wedding day. We met with our trusted vendors and described the look and feel we wanted and they sure did deliver.

We wanted to showcase the right ways to tie in a baseball theme into your wedding day and we definitely knocked it out of the park with this shoot. We made sure to incorporate the Iowa Cubs color scheme into our wedding theme. Nice pop of blue in the brides shoes and the groomsmen tuxedos. A nice pop of red in the guy's accessories and the bridesmaid's dresses. Then we softened the color pallet with champagne, blush & golds for the ladies and did some amazing mix and match boutonnieres for the groomsmen. We shot most of the day in the stadium and then ventured out to the Des Moines riverbed to finish the evening.
