When you work in the bridal industry you quickly become familiar with the years hottest trends. From Boho weddings in the woods to two-piece bridal sets and wedding planning apps, here's what's trending for 2015.

1. The Boho-Chic Wedding

This a fabulous, funky way to go for the more laid-back , free spirited couple. Inspired by music festivals like Coachella and Woodstock, this is festival meets elegance. When deciding on venues consider an open field or a wooded area, with wood benches or picnic like seating. Keep your flowers and colors earthy, yet bright (think teal, marigold, orange) . Wild flowers add a fun, elegant flare. Don't forget those unique touches like hand-drawn, non-formal invites, teepees, a bonfire, and a trail mix bar! For fashion think light and airy bridal gowns made of chiffons and organza. Opt for a floral headpiece or headband instead of the traditional veil. Mix and match bridesmaid dresses will give the bridal party an effortless look. When you pick your shoes consider doing sole-less sandals or no shoes at all! This is a Boho wedding after all! The groom and his guys should rock tan, navy, or light grey pants with suspenders and ties. To set the groom apart by put him in a vest or a vibrant colored coat.

2. The Rustic Country Charm Wedding

Perfect for the bride who loves country, vintage, and lace. This wedding theme has been growing in popularity over the past few years. The family farm or barn create the perfect setting for your big day and offer you both an indoor and outdoor location. Use hay bales covered with blankets for the guest seating. If you want your wedding to stand out from most country weddings, ditch the burlap and mason jars. Instead opt for animal hides and leather or lace table linens. Consider using flower boxes, watering cans overflowing with seasonal blooms, or mix matched, vintage bottles for your centerpieces.  The options are endless with country wedding when it comes to deciding on a color scheme. Blushes, yellows, lavenders, and various shades of blue are very popular this year. Consider having a live band and treating your guest to a craft beer tasting or signature whiskey cocktails. When deciding on fashion, a lace bridal gown is the way to go! Pick a gown with sleeves or a key-hole back for added detail. For the bridesmaids pick something short and fun, pair them with cowboy boots to tie the theme together. For the gents I would highly recommend a nice 3-piece suit in tan, navy, or grey and a colored bow tie.

3. The Royal Wedding

Although the Country and Boho weddings are hot this year, the classic white glove/black tie wedding is making a comeback! For the brides, looking to feel like a princess for the day, this is for you! Castles, mansions, and old estates are perfect wedding locations. There should be no shortage of flowers, crystal, and silk linens. Fine china, crystal glassware, and an elaborate cake will set the tone for your royal reception. A champagne tower, grand entrance, and valet guest parking, will add extra opulence. Deep purples, reds, and royal blues offer a great color pallet. As the princess bride you can go all out for your wedding gown! Consider wearing a super full ball gown with a long train and a cathedral length veil. A tiara is a must! Bridesmaids should be in matching floor length gowns, with a regal up-do, and a necklace for extra class. Your groom should be in a full black tuxedo with a white shirt and black tie.

4. Photo Fun

Your wedding photos and videos are one of the most important aspects of your wedding. They are one of the only keepsakes you will have from the best day of your life. Of course you'll want the traditional, formal shots but you'll also want some fun candid ones. For fun angles and unique photos, try using a Go Pro camera. Attach the camera to your bouquet, a bottle of bubbly, or even a selfie stick! Using a drone can offer a fantastic overhead view of your ceremony or reception. You can also let your guest have a little fun and set out disposable or polaroid cameras on each table. Make sure you use a #hashtag generator and other social networks for Instagram (something like #JackandJillsWedding) so you can check out guest photos! Setting up a photo booth with props and a cool backdrop makes for a wedding favor every guest will love!

5. Foodie Paradise

Plated dinners and boring buffets are so 2014! If you want to satisfy everyone's appetite consider some unique new options. Early morning weddings are on the rise, but whether you're reception is at 10 A.M. or 6 P.M. breakfast is always an appropriate option. Have fun with it! Cereal bars, yogurt bars, or even a create your own omelet station. Serve mimosas and coffee to liven things up a bit. For a fun spin on cocktail hour appetizers try doing miniature versions of classic comfort foods. Thank a cheeseburger slider with a mini milkshake or beer sample, mini grilled cheese with a tomato soup shooter, or even a mini taco with a shot of tequila. If you're a fan of buffets try having food stations instead of the boring line. Pizza, sushi, barbeque, and made to order pasta are good choices for this type of dinner. If you're having an outdoor wedding have food served from a few of  your favorite food trucks! This gives your guest plenty of tasty choices and there will be something for everyone! When it comes to dessert, ditch the candy buffet and try a S'Mores bar with different flavored marshmallows and chocolates or build your own sundae bar. For the adult guest, a beer or wine tasting is a great option to replace the usual bar. If you don't drink, there are many other great ideas such as, create a bar with different sodas or flavored lemonades.

6. Colors Of The Year

From year to year us folks in the bridal business quickly catch on to trending color schemes. This years color combos are amazing! There are fun colors for every style of wedding! Check out some of our favorites!
Marsala and gold: Pairing the deep purple-red with gold makes an opulent color combination that works well for fall and winter weddings.
Mint and grey: Such a light and fun color pallet! They pair well in any season and compliment any skin
tone!
Rainbow: Perfect for summer weddings, having a rainbow pallet adds a fun and playful touch to your wedding. It also makes matching flowers, linens, and tuxes a breeze!
Navy and Pink: This combination is great for country or nautical weddings. Together the pink and navy make a very fashion forward team!

7. Bridal Fashion Statements

As much as I love a traditional bridal gown, I can't help but love the new twist designers are putting on bridal fashion. The convertible dress is still gaining popularity! This is a great option for those brides who want a ceremony and reception look without the cost of a second dress. Two piece separates are super hot this year! Think crop tops, sweaters, and bustiers paired with full length poufy or sleek skirts! Its very fashion forward and I personally like that it can be made casual or dressed up. For the ladies who don't like dresses, don't worry! This year jumpsuits, rompers, and pant suits are popping up all over bridal runways! They're usually adorned with beading or lace so you still have that bridal feel. For the bold bride printed, colored, floral, and feathered gowns are HUGE. Although not for everyone these trends are a great way to make a fashion statement on your wedding day!

8. Creative Venues

Forget the country club and banquet halls. This year brides are booking fun, off the wall, places to hold their weddings. These days the sky is the limit when it comes to picking the perfect place to say your "I Do's". Vineyards and farms are growing in popularity because they offer indoor and outdoor locations. If you really want to book something out of the box, reserve an art gallery, historic museum, or even a zoo or aquarium! Because these locations already have so much going on,they will require minimal décor. If you are wanting something more personal look into having your wedding where you met, your families backyard, or a favorite get away spot.

9.There's An App For That

Brides no longer have to lug around big wedding planning books or search tons of sites to connect to vendors. There's an app for that! Apps like TaskRabbit and The Knot Wedding Planner simplify the planning process. TaskRabbit connects brides to locals (back ground checked) who can help you with almost anything! You can enlist someone to do pick-ups, help with DIY projects, and wedding organization. The Knot Wedding Planner helps you keep organized. You'll be able to locate vendors, save photos for inspiration, and keep track of your to-do lists. I also recommend providing guests with the Uber app to ensure they make it home safely after the reception. This is also good for out of town guests who aren't familiar with the area! There are even apps to create itineraries for out of town guest and help guests access your registry! These app are available for Apple and Android. Check out the lengths by clicking the photos below!

10.Creative Guest Books

Couples no longer desire the traditional white, satin guest book. Now they are finding fun and personal alternatives that make for a wonderful wedding keepsake. Check out some of the unique guest book ideas below!

It's already the end of 2016 but these trends still make me melt. Love the idea of having a beer or wine tasting as a replace for the usual bar. I really enjoyed reading this post, big fan.

When I was planning my wedding ten years ago, I really liked to have a boho chic themed wedding. I guess that the theme would really suit my fashion styles. My husband refused to have that kind of wedding and choose a church wedding instead. For him, a church wedding is the most sacred wedding you can have. I was being persuaded by the idea that is why I allowed it. On our twenty fifth year, we will be planning again a wedding and planning to have a boho chic one.

Boho chic wedding is becoming mainstream because of one of the vents in Lachica. I have never thought that they will appreciate this kind of wedding. For me, this type of wedding is very simple yet a groovy one. Some of the young celebrities also had this kind of wedding and I can see that it was very great. They have different tricks on how differentiate their weddings to others. Well, I guess that it is not that importance of the wedding but the ceremony itself.
